## Settlement Window Compression

A time‑based optimization strategy whereby the interval between transaction origination and merchant settlement is reduced; for example, moving from a standard T+2 settlement to T+0 or same‑day settlement. Shorter settlement windows improve merchant cash‑flow, reduce float risk for the platform, and allow more agile fund management (especially for payouts or revenue‑sharing models).
